It also tends not to shed dramatically in the way long-coated breeds do, so coat maintenance is relatively convenient.
So in many ways, the Pug really is a low-trouble dog. If you want a breed that is easy to keep and still able to bring happiness into your life, the Pug is often suggested for exactly that reason.
