When a Miniature Pinscher comes into heat, the cycle can generally be divided into three stages, lasting about 20 to 30 days in total. The best breeding time is usually between day 11 and day 15. How can you judge the best mating time? It is mainly determined by observation. A common method is to let the female dog stand, place your hand between her hind legs from behind, move the tail aside, and observe the vulva. When the color is grayish white with an orange-peel texture, or light pink, or when the bleeding has just stopped, the timing is often suitable for mating. Some dogs are picky and refuse a particular partner, in which case another dog may be tried. Some dogs are timid and do not allow natural mating, so owners may need to physically assist the process. If that still does not work, artificial insemination may be used to complete breeding.
