Many people who buy a Teddy soon find that the dog urinates and defecates everywhere after arriving home, and they often have no idea what to do. There is a practical method you can try.

First, it is best to place the Teddy in a separate small room. If that is not possible, use a playpen or barrier to block off a specific area indoors. Limit the dog's activity range. Cover the floor in that space with newspapers so the dog can only relieve itself on the paper.
At the beginning, keep the sheets that still have traces of urine on them, while removing feces promptly and replacing soiled paper with clean sheets. Then gradually reduce the amount of newspaper on the floor. Start by removing the paper near the dog's sleeping and eating area, and slowly expand the paper-free area step by step.
After a period of restriction and repetition, the Teddy will gradually get used to relieving itself on the newspaper. At that point, you can begin outdoor training by laying newspaper in the outdoor spot where you want the dog to go. If the Teddy obeys and eliminates there, praise and reward it immediately. With repetition, you can quickly train the dog to use a fixed toilet location.
