1. Do Not Encourage Picky Eating
Some owners mix various side dishes into dog food, such as egg yolk, canned fruit, or pork, hoping to make the French Bulldog eat more happily. But that can easily encourage the dog to become picky.
2. Do Not Feed the French Bulldog Like a Pig
You should never overfeed a French Bulldog as though it were livestock. Letting the dog eat too much too often can lead to stomach discomfort and in serious cases even enteritis. French Bulldogs should be fed in measured amounts. Puppies usually need three to four meals a day, while adults generally need one to two meals.

5. Do Not Let the French Bulldog Eat Fruit Carelessly
Many owners like to share fruit with their dogs, but not all fruits are safe for French Bulldogs. Some fruits can even be dangerous. For example, strawberries are sometimes listed as unsuitable, and owners should also be careful with fruits such as guava, jackfruit, and avocado, especially seeded guava, which may cause diarrhea if eaten in excess.
